International Education

International Student Mentor Program (ISMP)

ISMP is a student-led initiative which helps international students adjust to their new home and get acquainted with campus and student life. International students are paired with TAMIU students, that will serve as their mentors for the first weeks of the semester. The ISMP organizes errand runs, airport pickups, social gatherings among other events.

SAGA strives to internationalize TAMIU by educating and guiding fellow dustdevils in their international experiences. Composed of former study abroad students, the ambassadors will share their stories and be able to relate to their peers and anticipate situations that might be encountered. The SAGA are outgoing, well-spoken, and culturally sensitive individuals that understand the importance of global discovery through education.
